PATHS to Success Project

Start Date: 2008

Funder: Pennsylvania Department of Health (Commonwealth of Pennsylvania)

The Harrisburg School District is working with Penn State to offer new programs for grades K–3 children and their families, and with Penn State and Hempfield Behavioral Health to help parents support learning at home in ways that improve child adjustment and progress at school. Penn State is interviewing parents and assessing child learning at the beginning and end of each school year during the project period, and asking teachers to rate each participating child’s behavioral and academic adjustment.
