Introduction
Jennifer P. Agans conducts research in the fields of youth development and recreation, seeking to promote healthy lifestyles and support youth programs. Her research focuses on adolescent and young adult experiences in sport and other recreational contexts and the links between these experiences and positive development and health across the life span. In this work, she also collaborates with practitioners to evaluate youth programs and understand their impact on participants. Past partner programs include Positive Coaching Alliance, the American Youth Circus Organization / American Circus Educators Association, and New York State 4-H.
