Giorgia Picci is currently a post-doctoral researcher affiliated with the Center for Healthy Children and the Program for Translational Research on Adversity and Neurodevelopment (P-TRAN) in the Prevention Research Center. Her primary role is to manage and analyze MRI data from a large, prospective center grant examining the biological embedding of child maltreatment. Giorgia’s current research is focused on understanding how early adversities impact neurodevelopmental trajectories, and how particular resilience factors may inhibit deleterious outcomes (e.g., substance abuse.)
