Veronica Richards

PAMT Postdoctoral Fellow

Veronica Richards is a postdoctoral fellow in the Prevention and Methodology Training (PAMT) program working with Robert Turrisi, professor of biobehavioral health; and Michael Russell, assistant professor of biobehavioral health. Her research is focused on understanding how transdermal alcohol biosensors can be used to measure and intervene on alcohol use in real-time. She is interested in studying how different biosensor-captured patterns of alcohol use can be used to predict and prevent alcohol-related consequences, including blackouts, in young adults.

About PAMT

The Prevention and Methodology Training (PAMT) program, funded by a T32 grant from the National Institute on Drug Abuse, trains predoctoral and postdoctoral researchers in the integration of prevention science and statistical methodology for the behavioral sciences.
