Ed helped to develop the curriculum for HealthWise, a comprehensive risk-reduction, life-skills curriculum for adolescents in South Africa. He collaborated with Donna Coffman on evaluating the effectiveness of this intervention and with Linda Collins on designing an ongoing implementation trial of this intervention. In addition, he was the director of the Prevention Research Center, and a co-investigator on the T32 grant, the Prevention and Methodology Training (PAMT) Program, with Mark Greenberg and Linda Collins.
